To be the best web designer or Web Design Company, you must know how to satisfy your clients by developing websites that exactly translate their business and individual requirements.

To help you, we’ve enlisted the following Rules to improve your designing:

    1) The design should give an overall creative and aesthetic look, but make sure your design layout simple and uncomplicated.

    2) For added professionalism, keep Flash effects to its minimum and focus more on clean HTML codes.

    3) Don’t forget to optimize your website titles and headers by including main keywords and phrases.

    4) If you’re thinking of adding background music upon your site loading, simply avoid doing this! Even if you have to integrate music, make sure you provide a turn-off option to the visitors.

    5) Choose a theme and stick to it throughout the website. Your website layout style, logo and colors should remain consistent and unchanged.

    6) If you don’t want to lose your website visitor, avoid that annoying pop-up menus.

    7) When planning your site’s navigation, use standard structures that are either on the top or in the right or left side columns.

    8) Create a site map for both users and search engine indexing.

    9) Instead of centering your web design elements or aligning them to the extreme left or right, try developing a natural and balanced flow of elements.

    10) Use CAPS or italics inside of text only if you’ve got something important to enforce, otherwise avoid it completely.

    11) Ensure the images on your website are small in size and relevant to your site’s content.

    12) Use high-quality original content on the website. Nothing ruins your image as much as copied content!

    13) To facilitate user experience and assist them through your website, include a FAQs (frequently asked questions) page with answers.

Follow these basic web design rules for creating influential and profitable websites!

    Thanks nice tips i like.
    but
The most important rule in web design is that your web site should be easy to read. What does this mean? You should choose your text and background colors very carefully. You don't want to use backgrounds that obscure your text or use colors that are hard to read. Dark-colored text on a light-colored background is easier to read than light-colored text on a dark-colored background.

You also don't want to set your text size too small (hard to read) or too large (it will appear to shout at your visitors). All capitalized letters give the appearance of shouting at your visitors.

Keep the alignment of your main text to the left, not centered. Center-aligned text is best used in headlines. You want your visitors to be comfortable with what they are reading, and most text (in the West) is left aligned.

Not correct most of the time. It depends on the type of website. if its for a music album or may be for a movie site , it needs some background music. Yes, the turn off feature should be there for the visitor to turn the sound off.
