Banned by Adsense
I've been banned by Adsense and although I've pleaded my case on more than one occasion, I'm never going to be let back in.
My question is - is it OK for another Adsense account user to place their ads on my sites? I know that the site that originally got me banned is effectively dead to Google now (they won't even list it in the search engine). What I mean is, with any new sites that I setup, is it allowable for someone else to put their Adsense ads on it? Thanks, Crafu |

Yes you can put on your *new site* but not on this one if you put your friend adsense on a site that is banned from G Adsense then Google will ban him aswell!!!

If your account was not banned for that site, yes someone else can place their ads on it.

It is a grey area. Some people have reported they got banned for displaying adsense on a previously banned site (even when they had actually bought the domain and showed google the transfer of ownership - can't find the exact post).
The best thing to do is contact google about the situation. If it is a site that is registered in your name then google could view you as being the owner and therefore ban the publisher that is displaying the ads. It would be nice if it was crystal clear - but every decision is taken individually and therefore the best thing to do is query directly with google as you wouldn't want to be responsible for getting another publisher banned simply by allowing them to display their ads on any site you make.

From what I heard.. it depends if your account was banned or the site itself.

It seems to have been me and the site that have been banned.

Yes, I think you are allowed (or at least its not against TOS) to put someone else's code on the site, if the site itself was not responsible.

In your case, I would contact the google and ask why it was banned. However, don't expect a response... but you can always try

Thanks Lkj,
Been there done that even begged them pointing out that I can send them logs of info, that I use their AdWords system, and that I'm working towards my Google Accreditation. Nothing works. I just hope YPN or something else makes it's way to the UK soon. Thanks for the advice anyway!

Of course *someone else* can put their ads on your other sites, but don't be surprised if *someone else* gets banned as well.

Don't log in from the same IP either.... and make sure the content is de-indexed before republishing... so much trouble... good luck! *shrug*
And remember, Google's anti-fraud technologies were developed by people who have degrees in artificial intelligence! p; |

Just a quick round up and a thanks to everyone that posted on this one.
Google made it clear that they won't be giving me a new account time soon and it's WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY dodgey to get someone else to post their ads on your site, so don't do that either. And for the advice on moving host etc, suprise suprise, Google don't like that either. So to round up, don't lose your account and don't make Google angry. I've switched to Amazon now instead. Thanks anyway. Craig

I would think that your domain has been banned as well. Use the below tool to check if this is the case.

yes they usually ban the domain, when you register with another name if you do after a few days they will ban you.

It brings up ads about gardening and forklifts, www.theroundup.co.uk is about movie reviews. I'm not really sure what that means. Is that good or bad?
