That's a very old article, though I suppose it still provides a few good methods. But times have changed, and people need to adapt in order to reach the top of the SERP.
I agree with you guys. We all want to have a backlink fast but there are things that we should consider else it will have a negative results.
I believe these are the GOOD methods, all white had. The last 30 of them are the one we should avoid.
