My blog appears on the top of the google search results sometimes and other times it doesn't. It appears at the top of the search results for certain searches when i am logged into my google account but when i type the same search words when i am logged out, it is nowhere to be seen. Anybody know why this is?
Open a Google search page... eg: http://www.google.com/search?q=goog...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a note that on the top right you have a history tab. You have to disable it in order to see the correct SERPS. You have to do this for every profile you may have or gmail account if you will. When your logged in it shows you customized search results based on your browser activity. Great for folks just searching the web, not so great for SEO folks if you forget lol... hope that helps, Nigel
Ok thanks for explaining, i literally almost fell out of my chair screaming when i saw i was the 2nd result...then i logged out and it was gone so i knew it was probably just because i was logged in or something. lol
