One forum member suggested some cloaking plug in to mask my amazon links. I thought I have nothing to hide, Amazon is trusted site.

But still, I need more opinions on this. What are your experiences? Will I get more clikcs, will it maybe convert better? Or just to leave it this way?

    clash,

There are two reasons to mask your links (three if you're worried about link hijackers). The first is that Google has a negative view of affiliate links. So, masking the link and making the link "nofollow" solves this problem. I take the added step of adding the redirect link folder name to my robots.txt file so Google won't try to index those pages.

The second reason is shopper confidence. People don't like being sent off the site they are on without notice. If you really have nothing to hide, then make a graphic that tells people you're sending them to Amazon for the information.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers,
    David
