Best pay per impression programs?

    Hi,

I'm looking for a program that lets me put ads on my site, but get paid for the impressions instead of the clicks for a site that has a really low CTR. Any suggestions?

    Thanks, Matt

I dont think CPM advertising is worth it anymore but it does make some money usually on av $1 cpm up to $2 cpm on fastclick

I've got Casale and Burstmedia going on my site. If you can get fastclick I think their eCPM is better. If you can get a good CTR, you're probably going to do better with google adsense.

I guess cpm is only worth it, if you can deliver a high number of impressions. Companys who are paying for impressions are doing this to brand their product or service. They need lots of impressions quickly. Bigger ad-networks won't bother with smaller sites....

    Hi,

A CPM program is worth a try, but check out their terms. Most of the CPM deals that I've checked out reserve the right to withhold all or part of the payment if the converstion is low, and you admit your site has a low converstion for the things you've tried.

Again, I think it's worth a try though. If I was looking for a CPM program I'd look through the affiliate manager sites I use (CJ, Tradedoubler) first for relevent programs.

    Cheers

    Chris

Casalemedia and Bluetime is what I currently use but in order to make any money with CPM you need a ton of impressions.

    1000 impressions = about $1 - $2 so you do the math :)

    It works for some people.

I have adsense on some parts of my site and then cpm ads on other parts of my site.

I am currently earning alot more from these cpm ads being on these parts of my sites than what adsense would earn me. Infact, I am earning alot more than what adsense will earn me from these pages.

If you're not afraid to tick off your visitors, CPM ads can be a major revenue source if you employ pop-ups, Interstatials, and all that other groovy stuff that visitors just hate. :) But as the others have said, if you got the traffic, you can make some serious money. If not, it'll be pennies a day.

so over 100million impressions in a month would give me over 100k for that month. Sounds pretty good to me :)
    Thanks

Do you get 100 million impressions then. That is a nice amount of traffic.

I got into tribalfusion a while back and have never used them yet. I think I got accepted about 8 months ago. I applied when my sites traffic was good and then the traffic suddenly just dropped of and I were not getting the minimum amount of traffic needed to be in the program so I thought it would be best to just not take part in it until the traffic rises again. Unfortunately the site I was going to use it on, I do not have anymore.

So is PPI better for forum type communities? Or is PPC still superior?

Actually, correct me if I am wrong, but advertising.com is much better than tribal fusion but you can only get into their program if you one million hits per month.
