Hi Guys Google's Chrome Operating System will be released this fall! - http://www.eworldpost.com/google-to-launch-chrome-os-this-fall-153.html How many of you will be installing it?
I would get them installed in a separated partition whereas possible. I have no idea how secure it is for now, even Android mobile OS still has to update frequently to keep them secure. It is an interesting to try it out but not for main OS for now.
I will install it as secondary OS just to try it and how it is going to be.... I have a doubt will it be released as Google Chrome browser ? How much it cost? or Is free OS ?
i've read it somewhere that the OS is embedded. [like firmware] and that the OS can't be installed unless you have the hardware intended for it.
what type of hardware is necessary lol? i couldn't understand.. i read that a test version has been done on some notebook, but it is said it can also be installed in windows PC..
It depends. If I can do my work with it I will install it. If I have to be online to do my work - no. If I have to buy new PC just for it - no. We will wait and see what is this animal.
They have already made themselves available, a huge group of people to install it as soon as it is released.... their own employees! I will wait for the reviews to pour in... to suitably convince myself to try it! Regards, RightMan
I might give it a try, it depends on the requirements. If you have to have some specific hardware then I am less likely too because I fail to see the point in that. If not, then I'll pick up a spare machine off eBay and give it a whirl.
