Can you please elaborate about inaccurate data? Some websites can be missing because I didn't crawl them yet, but if website is in the list, then it does have an affiliate link to a clickbank product

Now the only question is what can be done to stop your site from appearing in that index

Make your visitors register and login before showing them the hoplink so that pages containing hoplinks would not be crawlable ;)

Great Idea, could be very powerful and many would be willing to pay for it. The only problem is that it appears that thers a lot of missing data - at least I couldnt find any of the products I searched for.

If you manage to have more data, you have a winner, guarantee!

    Good Luck!

Will not help. My bot decrypts "clickbank encrypted URLs" and resolves most kinds of redirects.

Mostly the tool is about exploring backlinks. Being able to detect most clickbank affiliates is just a nice byproduct

Can you please post or PM examples of missing data?

Thank you for all the positive and constructive feedback. It does look like I'm on the right track.

I would like to ask you guys a favor. If you like this tool - drop some posts about it on other foums and your blogs.

I'd love to develop this tool further but for that it needs to have an audience and right now I'd rather spend my time on coding new features and increasing index size rather than on promotion.

It will only take 3 minutes of your time and help me a great deal.

It seems like you will need to flush old DNS records for this to become more accurate. I have selected a few of the top records and the DNS records are over one year old on some. These records are obtained through Google cache. If you need to know more about removing and making your lookup better PM me for details.

It looks like a great system and will more then likely become a well known hit for most affiliates.

woo..that is SO off. It only shows affiliates which use plain hoplinks. If you cloak or use PHP redirects it doesnt show.

    Great point @ GeorgR

Because the capability of the results are not very well defined in the query. This query is returning poor results due to a wide range DOM problems. It is also not completely specific to CB products and/or vendors.

Although nameserver info is about 1 month old it does come from the very source - Verisign (the company that controls .com, .org and other major TLDs) so there is not way it can be one year old or incorrect.

So called 'cloaking' just takes a while to uncloak. There are many 'cloaked' links in the database right now and there is going to be much more within a month or so.

I though that the use of the website should be pretty obvious. In a nutshell there are three ways you can benefit from this service:
    1) If you are about to start promoting product X, you can look up existing affiliates and look at their landing pages, keywords, etc. This will give you some idea on what works and what doesn't. So you will save some money and time (and time is money) by not having to run some of the experiments.
    2) If you know several websites of someone who is already known to make good money on the Internet, you can find his/her other websites and get some ideas on how to make money yourself.
    3) If you are into SEO, exploring backlinks of your competition should help you a great deal.

There are other ways this info can be used. For example Clickbank vendors can find their affiliates and reach out to them with some info, etc.

FYI: I'm going to attend SMX Advanced next week in Seattle. So if anyone is also attending, you can meet me there and ask questions.
