Revenue details: The site has consistently made about $4,500-$7,500 a month for a couple of years now. Other Details
There is much potential for this AMAZING SITE AND FORUM with so much history. It is clearly ultimate Christian music and guitar forums on the web both in size, member base, and quality content. I think there is plenty of traffic to be gained from SEO work, but this is not something I know how to do. The simple reason I am selling is that while running multiple Big Boards is exciting, I simply don't have the time needed for this anymore. The staff (of around 60-70 moderators, global mods, super mods, admin, and webmasters) is absolutely amazing and very much dedicated. I have several fantastic assistant admins (volunteers) who lead the site staff and handle basically everything on the site. You see I maybe only visit the site a few times a week now days, yet I have complete confidence in the fantastic team of staff to handle things. The site really needs a new owner that will promote the site and manage it to prepare for the coming growth in 2007.

I once bought a forum LeeD managed. I'm still trying to clean up the effects his shitty, authoritative and arrogant management style had. I know a site/forum that was bought from him for $xx,xxx that got banned from Google right afterwards due to stuff he did.

There's no doubt he knows how to make money, but if he's selling, chances are its shit and there is something very wrong. Buyer beware.

 

I do not know LeeD personally, nor have we conducted any business transactions. However, I do feel the oblgation to point out that there has been news that the RIAA is cracking down on guitar tablature sites (another myopic and stupid move on the part of the RIAA, I believe), and I feel that potential buyers should be aware of this. Simply do a Google search on "RIAA tablature" or visit http://digg.com/tech_news/RIAA_Going_after_Guitar_Tablature_Sites for more info. I know that if I were interested in buying a site (especially for the amount of money being asked for ChrstianGuitar.org), I would appreciate it if someone alerted me to such pertinent news.
