i often find Article Directories to be attacked by greedy webmasters who look to insert links in each and every article. They are barely interlinked too. So how do some of them retain their PR every time and tomy surprise some have even got better PR's can any one give a logical answer? no predictions please....
The same way as other sites get PR, Google often gets it wrong when dishing out PR. People link to the articles. Thanks Brian
The PR you see on the toolbar is an historic number. It is updated every 2-3 months, so it is often out-of-date.
In addition to the number of backlinks there are still many factors affecting to PR. These defects of Google are skillfully used by some site owners. Thus it turns out as you say.
This is good one... I hate to be the one who brings that to your attention but... Logic and Internet is an oxymoron ... but not as good as the one where someone wants to know: who owns the Internet? fastreply
No one knows for sure the exact formula for PR. Often a sites PR doesnt "maku sense" or isn't what it possibly should be. A lot of article directories have age & a lot of content which are a great formula for good PR.. not to mention links to articles.
Lot of people who submit articles to our article directory bookmark them or they do other types of link building to the articles so that the articles would rank better and get more views. If the overall page rank of the article directory is high then it is lot easier for authors to get their articles to show up in good position in search engines.
You got that right. Authors link to their articles/ pages thus building backlinks that generate PR. 500 backlinks will easily give article directory PR 6 or 7 fastreplies
Most article directories got PR easily as there are many webmasters use their articles and link back to them. I think this is the main point of gaining PR easily.
Are you sure about that? Fresh what... something like fresh bread? I can understand useful content can generate backlinks, but fresh... fastrepleis
