I am new here and want to know how to make money online. Any suggestion for me?

You have to read a lot. It's not like there is a five page manual on how to make money online

Here is a very brief guide to making money online:

1. Learn basic HTML, PHP
2. Learn basic SEO

Drive traffic from the search engines to your landing pages and convert it.

 

You dont need to know PHP in order to make a decent living online... neither do you need to know SEO..... or HTML..... its all nonsense.

you can learn as you go along.

Its more important to make sure you have a plan and stick with it..... analyze as you go along and improve on what your doing each time, you will soon get there. While its true that some products convert badly, you can change your entire inventory or affiliate links through widgets and such if you use wordpress for example.

 

Hmmm...there are a lot of ways to do so. You have got some reading to do
By setting up site, then throw some ads in. Of course you will have to drive traffic to the site then convert it to $. Other than ads like adsense, you can also do so with affliate links. If your site has gain some page rank, maybe you can sell links or post with the niche of your site. (you can find people who is looking for this in dp)
Personally i think SEO is a must have knowledge in order to do so. If you don't spend time on reading some, you might work double than those who know SEO but convert less than them. I myself is still learning some as i go along. Dp is a great site and with a lot of experts you can learn from. Good luck~

Now anyway here's an easy quick way

Pick a niche and stick with it.
Follow it through to the end whether it fails or succeeds

Set up web 2.0 properties like blogs, hubpages squidoo lenses etc.
Have them link to your webpage

Write at least 5 articles a day
submit them to every directory you can

Social bookmark EVERYTHING you have
your articles, web 2.0 properties your webpage EVERYTHING
make sure your description is different
for each so the search engines will index them as new content

Put adsense on everything

Market yourself through forums and blog commenting.

Update ALL of your content twice a week.

Do all of this and I promise you will
make some sales
This may not make you a millionaire but you
can easily see how profitable this business can be.

 

The main thing is you must have a good idea, something new or do something better than its already being done - that seems to be the trick.

 

All people wont tell you exactly how they make it. They just give u some tips and you have to find out the secret yourself.

Brian, there are many, many ways of making money online. Many newbies make the mistake of just saying they want to "make money." Have you looked at the various aspects/categories of internet marketing, and do you have any idea at all what you want to do? Do you have an advertising budget? How much time can you put into your marketing? You need to ask yourself some fundamental questions like the ones I've mentioned above before you can reasonably decide on the proper course of action!
