I know I'm highjacking the thread a little now, but I'm so curious.

Your travel blog would be the travel-rants.com right?

How many unique visitors are you attracting as of right now?

How long have you spendt building it?

    I'd love to hear :)

    Hi Miko, in answer to your questions;

Yes my travel blog is travel-rants.com
Well it's listed in MSN, Yahoo and Google, but currently in the Google sandbox .. #1 for Travel articles in MSN.. around 50-60 uniques per day.
Time spend building it.. odd hour here and there, about 2/3 days in total as it's all built around wordpress.org, just have to build up all of the content and find good travel news articles.

    Darren :)

I've been vigerously testing Wordpress plugins this last week. Here are my favorites so far (I'll add more as I continue to test)...

    Enhanced Views
Quick filter/sorting features for editing posts.
    http://www.coldforged.org/the-enhanced-view-plugin/

    Paged Comment Editing
    Quick editing features for comments.
    http://www.coldforged.org/paged-comment-editing-plugin/

I also installed Organizer (a file manager), but I haven't played with it yet. It's supposed to provide enhanced features for managing file uploads, resizing pictures, etc. http://i2blog.com/imthiaz/wp-plugin-organizer/

SEBasic just posted this in another thread and I've got it up and running on WP 1.5.

    Nicer Archives
Great little sitemap generator...with searchable list of posts.
    http://weblogtoolscollection.com/archives/2004/05/23/sortable-nicer-archives-for-wordpress/

Here's the blog I'm working on... Game, Games, Gaming
here's the Nicer Archives I just installed for it... http://www.levelupdesign.com/narchives.php

I need to hack in our template theme, then I'll link it into the main template for access from the home page.

That inline adsense one looks good! I have spellcheck in Firefox or Safari so I don't need that one. I'd like a rich text editor, however they write to much code and just balloon up my database.

Not really functionality, but I love the WP Admin Tiger plugin, I don't remember the URL.. but basically it changes the admin page from the boring page, to a mac-like UI thats really awesome and sweet to the eyes.

    Some other ones I use:
    Depokerizer
    Paged Comment Editing
    Polite-ifier
    WP Plugin Manager

I'm using the adsense plugin and it's very easy to implement!

The only problem I am having is that it's not picking up my content, and displaying public service ads! :( Great list of plugins! Keep em' coming!
