And before Minstrel or some other smart ass points it out, I know that the choices are not mutually exclusive. "within a year" would include both "May 31" and "within a month", etc. But I'm sure most readers will get the point.
If it was going to come back, because it was a glitch or something... I would have thought it would be back by now. IMO, it's actually better for the web without knowing the pr of a page. Why? Because people will link in a more natural way, more on topic... and this will help the general seo community evolve it's approach to linking. I hope TBPR does come back, as I understand better than your average webmaster in my serps what you can and can't achieve with PageRank, and this helps me compete effectively. Forget the holiday or Friday factor. Any company that big, that had a 'drama' this big would put all needed hands on deck till it was fixed. If TBPR disappearing wasn't meant to happen they would be busting their guts to get it fixed. Intentional is when you hit the switch before the weekend and come back after the break to read up on the reaction of the webmaster community for a laugh.
Good poll btw Bob, at first I thought it was some junior burger asking a dumb question, but a poll and discussion is great.
My guess is that within a month the new TR or another replacement toy will be launched with bells, whistles, dancing girls and all the fun of the fair.
Ergo, you're not a smart ass????? And talking about logic, does it follow them that you are a "dumb ass"????
It'll be back on June 1. Minor upgrades to bring reporting back in line with real time PR factoring, and rollout of preliminary trustrank code. What the hell, if I'm gonna guess, why not be creative --- PS: Anyone notice this on the result page ? (toolbar query) You do not have permission to send search queries from this IP address. Please login to the Google Admin Console and ensure that this IP is in your list of permitted IPs. Remember that it may take a few hours for a newly added IP address to become activated and able to perform queries. --- Cheers, JL
No, it's a free country. Your input is always allowed even if it isn't welcomed But on a serious note I'd prefer not to hijack my own thread. And speaking of hijack, Anthony appears not to have even found it yet.
These glitches can take a bit longer than you would think... Both TPR and Toolbar Google Guide will be back soon..... I guess.
