All the Microsoft products (Win98, Me, XP and W7 now). Tried Ubuntu few times and it was OK but I'm used to Windows and program compatibility.
Windows, mostly for ease of use. If I am in a pinch, and need some an OS for a server or something and don't want to buy something, I will use a linux setup.
I use both. I use EasyPeasy on my EeePC, for email, surfing, and general time wasting. And XP Pro on my desktop (work) machine, because I need Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
i use linux as i got sick getting virus all the time everytime i download porn lol fedora derivative is still the best for me.
There are lot of software developed for Microsoft OS than Linux. Also in Linux each version require its own .rpm files for software installation. But Microsoft windows easily run the same .exe file on all versions.
yup..because microsoft is the mainstream os and people usually will familiar it more than linux. but linux does got its strength if you really know how to deal with
It depends on how you're used to work .. as a geek (if you're coder) or as a noob (if you're a gamer) if you're geeky then you'll go with linux. I use both, depends on the thing I want to do
Microsoft is User friendly whereas Linux is more secure. Microsoft products are vulnerable to more threats.
I recommend the newest release of Ubuntu... Windows 7 maybe good, but it is still a Microsoft product.
