Keyword Tracker Supports Tracking PageRank Historically

Discussion in 'Keyword Tracker' started by digitalpoint, Mar 25, 2004.

A pretty major addition to the keyword tracker is the ability for PageRank to be historically tracked in the back links section.

Once there is some data to plot (after the next PageRank update), I will set it up so the data can be graphed.

    Excellent! Thanks, Shawn!

My little icons on the left to plot graphs seem to have disappeared altogether, none for keywords or backlinks... Did I miss something?

I mentioned this in the other thread where this was discussed (and provided a re-direct here), but I'll say again Shawn - this ROCKS!

    alek

P.S. I'm not near as "up" on this stuff as others are, but I still recall Google saying Page Rank queries outside of their Toolbar were not withen their TOS - has Google made any type of response to all the recent tools that have cracked the checksum?

BTW, sure would be easier if they'd just return the PR along with the page when you did an API query.

Well, since I didn't have anything to do with the checksum stuff, the hardest part about it was populating the 16,000+ URLs that are already in back link tracker. :) Ended up threading it... 16 threads, making 1,000 queries each so I could get 16 at a time.

Going forward, it will be much less queries per day (thankfully). :)
