Is DP using paid posters?

i have felt frequency of posts vary on time to dime basis . for example last week there were much more posts on DP than this week ... ? any chance they using Paid posters ?share your independent view

DP is the best place for webmasters, you can get answers for your questions, you can trade links, trade sites, etc. A paid poster will not post quality answers or suggestions. The quality of posts come from natural posters.

 

I just don't get the whole paid posting thing.

 

People get paid to post on forums, therefor giving the forum more value (to a potential buyer )

 

If DP used paid posters then posts would not have varied in number.

Most posters that get paid do make some ridiculous postings.

I am launching a forum, and I see no need to waste money by having people post on it.
True, nothing there yet, and people may not join as there is nothing, but why artificially inflate the posts?

I have seen forums here get launched using nothing buy paid posters and when I look at them, no members are joining, yet they will have 100 or more postings by the same 2-10 people.

And most posters that are paid, do their thing and that is it.
They are not active in the forum.

ANd if you hire paid posters to pump up a forum just to sell it, you are scamming the buyer.

 

I use paid posting only on new forums for just a little bit of time and just to get activity i dont care if they are stupid as long as they attract few people to join. Would you become a member of a forum that has no posts. Would you like to start everything even if topic is of your interest. There are two ways to start activity one is to make few posts yourself to attract members and the other option is paid posting. Most of people who hire paid posters are the one short on time and cannot start the activity. I dont think it is stupid or anything like that i hope you get what i mean. I however think it is scam to hire paid posters and then sell that forum and show that as normal activity thats scam but if you are just hiring them to start activity i dont see anything wrong but may be thats just me

What a mad idea, DP using paid posters. This is one of the best Forums on the web, people are lining up to post on here. I wish it was the same on my Forums Well done DP for a great Forum.
