Hi i saw this on some sites. peoples are changing their google adsense search code. for exampe game-console.nl . this is the home page. there is google search box on every page. let you try and see what is your suggest?
Actually they did'nt change the code, just they implemented the new feature in search results added in the adsense. Now you can display the search results within your website, fits more with your website and also improves the CTR as well. I tried this and gets good results in earnings.. cool How To While creating the the adsense search code, select the option Open results within my own site and enter the results page url (you want to create a html page for that, leaving the sidebar as it is and make blank the middle page, so that results will appear their). Now you'll get two codes and follow the instructions to install..
I read through the Google Help pages, and changing the code is explicitly forbidden. I wanted to change mine so that site search searched a subdirectory instead of the whole domain, but I couldn't. Saying that, I've tweaked my search box code a tiny bit, e.g. align="center" instead of "left". I couldn't see how that example site was using search code any differently from how it is on the AdSense pages. However, I think it's against TOS to have someone else search box on the same page... Cryo.
I think most of the people did'nt aware of the new features on adsense, hey guys better login to your adsense and lookafter in the adsense setup page for additional features that google allows now...
Hi, just saw this topic via google search game-console.nl is my website and I did not change the code, just copy paste from adsense. Left one is google search box and the right one is my own search box for searching games. So, there is no code changing or wathever its all legit Just like others say, its a new feature from adsense.
