Niche Finders LOGO CONTEST! $50

I have been gone for a while but back in the mix. We want to see your logo concept! The winner will be chosen Thursday the 25th in the evening and paid via PapPal but we do reserve the right to close the contest early if we choose a winner early. Here is an example of the site color/layout http://www.kriesi.at/demos/levitation/light/

Niche Consulting is the actual business name and what should be in the logo. We find niche markets online for our clients to have businesses from home. We set everything up from the market research to the drop shipper, web dev, SEM, and conversion consulting. We would like a logo that portraits the business model and the definition... Definition - A place or position which a person or thing is best fitted, suitable or appropriate: to find one's niche in the business world. Remember...WE FIND NICHE MARKETS

There are some examples I like below(links from logopond) A play on words is always good. I am looking for the most creative concept as far as the use of the word and definition of "Niche"

A preferred color scheme is Forest Green/Green/Grey(much like digital points original colors minus the teal blues). If you have any questions at all, let me know.

The company/Domain name is Niche Consulting. Is that what you mean by brand name? As far as examples, I do not want to put limits on any concepts. The designers are the professionals and I would like to see what their heads can come up with individually.

I just don't see the correlation between the definition of "niche" and the arrow. I do understand the point in the right direction idea tho. Our tag line is "What's your niche?"

Okay this design actually makes sense :p.

The two puzzle pieces coming together represent your website finding the clients niche. Give me some more feedback! :)

    Here's a concept idea
I decided to play off the proverbial "Finding of the needle (Or niche) in a hay stack" approach.

UPDATE. The business name and logo should be Niche Consulting instead of Niche Finders. Sorry if this caused any problems.

Alright, I created multiple versions. I can add in the tagline to whichever one you chose. cheers!

this one represents sticking out among many different competitors.

this one is like the one above, but with a wider spread of boxes. it has a bulkier feel to it.

What about this guy? Can you make this guy green (not 3D) holding a magnifying glass looking at the "N" on niche consulting. Make sense? This way I could pay you a bit extra to design the little man in a few different positions for different pages of the site :)

Or what about an "N" inside of "C" with some good color fading. Just a few ideas.

So far I haven't seen anything that represents the word niche at all except scorpionagency's needle in a haystack. If I had to choose now I would go with HerDish because of the simplicity.

I like the fading/detail in the letters Accipiter! Can you put something that represents the word niche more next to it besides the notebook?

HOW ABOUT THIS? The word niche consulting in lowercase with a cursor at the end. very clean and simple kind of like this: http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/81336 but make the cursor look more like a traditional cursor.

Or what about a "Niche Consulting" with a Search bar with "what's your niche?" inside with two search buttons(like Google) That would be awesome too!

I feel like I should have wrote all of this stuff in the beginning instead of waiting till now but I figured you guys would come up with some of your own concepts that somewhat related to online marketing and niche markets. Maybe I should restart the thread??? Thoughts?
