    Hi there

I just received an email from MaxBounty which strongly states any form of advertising on myspace will result in immediate ban. :(

Which has me thinking that some of the top publishers here who have been banned and without a reason they could think of may have been banned for sending bulletins or having bulletins sent out.

This would seem to be a logical explanation especially when looking at publishers who seem to play by the rules.

Looking for Judd , aeiouy and others !!!!

Affiliate market being hit big time by myspace. Extremely bad for people who look for free traffic so it is back to either monetizing your site or use pay per click like adwords or overture for traffic.

Just run your links through a redirect instead of posting the maxbounty link directly on myspace.....

Its against Myspace TOS to advertise through their site. It was time they said something.

Well I've been doing very large scale advertising for affiliates and assorts sites on MySpace for quite some time. I haven't been banned or heard of anyone getting removed.

MB was allowing users to do affiliate ads on their myspace profile. They now have put a halt to the practice :(

What I am trying to find out is if there is any correlation between banned publishers who for the most part abided TOS.... and who used Myspace to market their sites.

Thank you for your input and good luck with your marketing......but beware too....

I am not banned from Maxbounty, but I have never promoted anything through myspace, if you are talking about adsense etc.

I had a myspace "fake profile tracker" site setup that pulled in $2k adsense in a day from bulletins and then got me banned with no re-instatement. Too many clicks in one day I guess.

What is MAXBounty.com? Is it good? What is myspace? Why you're banned?

Funny, I can't think of more blatant advertising than a band plugging itself. Hypocrites over there. If they had their druthers they would not allow anyone to put a link anywhere on MySpace, but they know how ballistic everyone would go. So they just ban certain urls.
