Adbrite SUCKS !!! Help me !!

Ok i've been running adbrite since 2 months and i've made only $5, it really sucks.

yesterday the ads were displayed 12,000 time but i only made 0.20$

i am even displaying some full page ads

I need an alternative ads network, but i think google ads will not accept my site

My site is a forum but i have a rss aggregator that post a lot of feeds from various blogs with music downloads.... So i think linking to downloads on websites like mediafire is against google terms of use

what ads network should i use ? I can get around 20k ad zone views per day but not many clicks.... so i perfer CPM than CPC

Try selling ad space on your own....try through forums first. Place a page on your site "Advertise" with more information about the ad space available, stats, etc. The sooner you find a handful of advertisers that want your traffic and are willing to pay for it, the better off you will be in the long run.

Another option would be adengage.com if you're looking for something similar to adbrite - but I doubt you will have much better results

yeah your best bet will probably just be to sell the adspot to advertisers. most of those CPM dont pay out very well

I just recently started using adbrite myself and can't say that I'm very pleased with it so far. I should probably try using it a bit longer - but I can't really see a positive end if I stick with it.
Definitively thinking about selling the ad space on my own for sure!

Let me/us know if you try Azoogle or Chitika?
Interested to hear how they work.

    Good luck

Guys it takes a little more work to find your own advertisers, but once you have them, you will be so much happier and earn more. Just make sure you treat them like gold

this isn't the kind of website that i could easily find someone willing to pay me for ads.... it's a punk music download forum, i guess the only possible advertisers would be band, and it would be very hard to find a deal...

I think my best option is really to find a good ads company

I never really liked Adbrite. They have a loooong approval process.

Making money from pay-per-click ad revenue is not going to make you a lot of money unless you have several sites, like dozens and dozens. People don't click on ads like they used to.

I also agree that you should open your forum up to ads. There's a blog that I advertise my list on that does something like this, and I've gotten good results. Of course, he's got a lot of traffic already. But if you're interested in people advertising on your site, I recommend you check out his to get an idea what he does. See the prices he offers, the kind of traffic he's getting, the specific instructions he has for people who are interested in buying his ad spots, etc. Check out http://moneymakerinfo.blogspot.com by Alan Liew.

Some time Adbrite is worst to show Ads on websites and Blog as compare to Google Adsense. Adsense ads are more effective then any other advertising forum

Keep in mind buy/sell ads only works if you get ALOT of visitors. Otherwise you won't be approved.
