    Hello, I have been testing out PPC advertising to see if it would suit me and here is my short review for Brainfox.

    Brainfox was looking like the only choice for me as I wanted a PPC where I could use Paypal to insert money into the system, so I signed up for a account which took 1 min max, and put $50 into the system. 20 Minites later I have spent $30 and yet not one sign up (or ever next page view) on my website (which offers a free 5GB email box). I have got 300 hits from them, not one of them has even looked at another page.

    BrainFox Account manager does not offer that many options and I can not see where my hits are coming form. When searching for my ad I can not find it under the keyword I am paying the most for;

    So all in all I would stay away from BrainFox, poor service and VERY poor conversion rate.

    $30 in 20 min sounds like click fraud to me... unless you're paying $10/click lol

    I was an affiliate of theirs a few years ago. I had their search on my site and after months of waiting on payment they changed their affiliate program and all funds owed me disappeared. I emailed them and they ignored me. About a year later I started my own search site and they emailed me looking to get me to use their feed. I told them no and why I wouldnt. They replied asking for more info and I sent it. They never got back to me yet once every 6 months or so I get an email asking me to use their feed.

    Brainfox seems a little sketchy to me. For one, they have ZERO phone support, which really irks me. If I'm paying for a service and have a problem, I want to call you right now and get everything straightened out. Secondly, the only way to contact them is to fill out their inquiry form online and wait (for days) for an automated response. :mad:

    If it were up to me, I'd do away with using these small PPC sites, and focus my time and energy on the top 3 PPC search engines. Only problem is that it's not up to me :).

    I sent them $10 and set my bids at a simple .01 a click. Currently burning at a rate of about a click every 20 secs. I'm advertising with Yahoo! and Google and have never experience the traffic I'm supposedly getting here. Check my stats, all coming from the same place. Complete, and absolute SCAM. Glad I just sent them $10 and not more! AVOID BRAINFOX.

    Yeah, the problem is so many sites review them as being good.

    I was all set to sign up for an account, when I discovered that their payment system doesn't accept Amex properly. Not only that, but the site itself has been in a state of decay for some time. The contact page is broken, and the about is page hasn't been updated since 2003! - Avoid this one, as an alternative - Searchfeed is pretty afordable, so is GoClick. Low volumes, but good quality.
