Two Queries: Infractions and User Name Change

Greetings

Just wanted to enquire about two things

1) I did receive some infractions few months back Now that they are expired, why do they still show in my UserCP?

2) Secondly, I've heard that we can get our username changed atleast once. Whom do i contact for changing my username?

The infractions stick around forever...even when they expire. It helps us keep track of the real troublemakers.

BTW- I vote "no" on the user name change.

 

So therez no way out. I mean one could never change their username. Is that what you are saying?

Ahhh...Decently...Well i don't go to pool parties. Isn't that decent enough?

Anyway, i didn't get any more infractions for so many days...just trying to prove a point about decency.

Many apologies- I had you confused w/ another user w/ a similar name. He's still banned.

Nothing muc. Wanted to have some generic name instead. That's all.
I just read FAQ's/Rules about username change. It says that i can request and Mods will only change if they find my reason to be logical. I don't have any reason except that... i just want a new generic name. That's it.

Why dont you change to Ally ?

Part of your directory name

Or else change to Web Directory (Space in between words)

 

I wanted to have it as Web Directory but there is already an inactive user by that name.

I wish i could have that

 

Then Shawn will not change it to Web Directory if a user with that username already exists..

Are you saying that there is already a member by the name WebDirectory or are you saying that it is activated now?

 

You might want to think really hard on the name. You'll be stuck with it for a year!!!

All some one has to do is register a name, and then no one can ever have it..until they request a name change!!!

 

Well I had some names in mind. I checked on the member list but you know...memeber list only shows those members having atleast a post count of 1. So it's really hard to see if a name already exists or not. Until there is a way i don't know of.
