Man Utd bans Facebook and Twitter

Football club Manchester United has reportedly banned players from using Facebook and Twitter.

other spots have banned social media sites as well
I think it's good, the players need to focus on the game, not what joeblow is eating for dinner

 

I agree with Loco.M. Players are meant to be playing professional football and they are being paid like anything for doing that. Yes, not to be too strict, they should get some time off relaxing or listening to music. I think ManU did the right thing.

 

I do think it’s a bit harsh to be honest! What will be next? They can't use the web altogether?

 

really makes no diff if they spend their free time twittering, watching a movie or so on.

but if its causing distraction to the club then fair does.

What? That's a good one - I can’t really see Rooney and co with their I-phones at the theatre of dreams this is to do with the players not using Twitter or Facebook during rest time etc...
