Nice, you want to steal someones idea and then get someone to do it for next to nothing.

    Go figure!

You're going to have to give a bit more for us programmers to go on.
For websites, you're going to be charged based on either number of pages or how complicated the backend database is (if there is one).
I'm unlikely just to log into a site in order to count pages etc - esp' when you give no idea as to what your budget is.
Are you wanting the whole shooting match (graphics, database everything) creating ?

Saying you have a low budget doesn't really help us. I'm not going to spend a couple of hours looking through a site and working out exactly what going ot be involved in reworking it if I don't know whether you can afford me in the first place.
A low buget for a full site would come in at around £500 I'd imagine, whether it could be done for less depends on the amount of time it would take ie if it's only going to take me a day (ie about 6 -> 10 pages) then you might get it for less.
But the above doesn't mean that £500 is your idea of a low budget.

noppid: essentially, what he's talking about is pretty much how 'ALL' of us build our sites. We surf around the web, come across sites that we like. We take layout ideas from the site combine them with ideas another site gave us and heypresto we (hopefully) come up with a layout that we like. Very few layouts are totally unique, they're normally just combinations of things that we like the look of whether the copying was a concious decision or not.

Now if he was talking about copying the content then .........

Yes, you have a valid point. It just didn't come off that way to me.

I can duplicate the site for $1000.00 plus software expenses.

vi was a combination of a Berkeley copyright and ATT.
nvi is a BSD copyright, and vim is GPLed
