Here it is.. I've found a way to have more visitors to your site/blog.. facebook, myspace, twitter are the most powerful sites you can share your site/blog on them. go create an account on facebook with fake name (girly name) upload some hot pictures, I mean bikini, naughty pics etc... then use tinyurl to tiny your url and join facebook groups specially mafia war groups and adult groups then post your url with a message.. add people, share your url, then this daily.. it'll definitely work and get your site/blog more visitors. I'm doing it good luck for all.
I don't think this work. You get visitors that want porn or something, there not interested in the content of your website. So they close your site immediately.
I agree with you, some of them click of the link hopefully finding some nude site, but if your contests of your sites are entertaining and useful for them, they might bookmark your site.
When I've tweeted articles I've found that most of the traffic is from bots. To boost reads to my blogs I write articles and add links to them. On the article publishing site in my signature you can write a promotion of each page or blog entry you make and that works well. Another good site for this is Snipsly.com - still quite new but it is working well. Also, if you only publish on AdSense sharing sites you can make another AdSense revenue stream from them. Most offer 50% AdSense share - snipsly pays 80%
I would prefer to optimize your blog's content and enhance the attractiveness of the user at the same time create more backlinks, although such an approach will take time to operate, but he received the flow more stable.
I would rather settle with slow and difficult to get but targeted search engine traffic when compared to the bandwidth leaching unfocused traffic from social bookmarking sites like the ones discussed above. You will rarely get clicks or conversions from such traffic and the returning visitors will be zero. Search engine traffic is the best in my opinion...
Does this mean I have to wear a dress while posing for the photos...I'm a bit worried that my beard may give me away....
