Perhaps you are only submitting to press-release directories, but it can't guarantee to be included in news sites like Google news, CBS news, AOL news. Then its just waste of bucks. I usually submit press release to free PR directories, but they never convert into sales, just bring some free visitors (very few amount), nothing else.
