Web Interface Payment Fail

    I am running OptiGold 3.3.1

    When my customers try to make a payment using the web interface (OptiSkin) it returns:

    Credit Card Was Declined. Unrecoverable SSL error. Connection closed.

    I am using CardService Linkpoint merchant account. Everything was working fine a few days ago.

    I also tried to use my Payflow Pro account, but that returns the following error:

    Failed to connect to host, i/o error: java.net.UnknownHostException: payflow.verisign.com,

    Any ideas how to fix this?

    What version of Java Runtime are you running on your web server?

    I don't know if this will help you, but I had the same problem while integrating payflow into a shopping cart system I designed. There is a perameter passed that tells what URL to use:

    For testing, I used the test-payflow.verisign.com url

    The line SHOULD have read:
    HOSTADDRESS = "test-payflow.verisign.com"

    I had set it to:
    HOSTADDRESS = "https://test-payflow.verisign.com"

    and got the same error you got. When I got rid of the https it fixed it.

    I was setting it up on a Coldfusion server and that uses Java (JVM/JRE)...so the error message was the same, but I'm not sure how you'd set it up in the application you are using or where you'd need to change the setting as I don't have experience with that software. Hope this helps you though.
