Backlinks on Qondio.com (formerly known as Qassia)?

Discussion in 'Link Development' started by Pixelrage, Dec 17, 2009.

I was wondering if anyone here uses Qondio/Qassia to submit articles for backlinks, and if the links themselves have been of any value? I personally have never seen this site show up in a SERP, even when it used to be Qassia.

i used Qassia for a while till they changed their name. even had a blog article suggesting people to use it for link building (find the article here). they showed good potential to begin with but i'm not using them that much anymore

Are these backlinks worthing anything in Google eyes? For example, you can place your backlink in Bukisa the same way but Google thinks they have no value.

They imposed a way to get backlinks for 8-9 recommendations, but they were not that easy to get one. Actually this site itself got thousands of quality articles and turned to PR5 in just 3 months, but users didn't get anything.

It's showing up in the serps now. :) qondio.com beats many niche sites for the #1 spot in Google serps for the mid- to long tail.

    Example:

    http://bit.ly/747ZrW

There are lots and lots of articles in the top 10.

    Example:

    http://bit.ly/4YeGxo

To be honest, there were a lot of coping-with-growth issues in 2008, but they have all been dealt with.

This is wrong. Qondio's links are solidly dofollow rich links with screenshot.

Qondio's backlinks have always been dofollow. It's the whole point of the site.

Sorry about that. I did not see the author box that looks like an "Ad" box. Links are Dofollow in that.

I checked links in the last lines of the articles where authors have given links to their website. Those were NoFollow.

    Thanks for the correction.

I should point out there is a $5 activation fee.

But anyway if you are blogging, the best way to drive traffic to your blog is to get it from the blogosphere, i.e. comment on other people's blogs regularly and often. There's really not as much need to do linkbuilding as for commercial sites.

I use them but the require you post you article there first and not post it until it has been “screened” by other members. After 5 months of using them only 5 out of the 20 articles I have submitted have been screened so the proses is long. If every site we submitted to had to be the first place we post an article it would take too much time because you would have to produce a lot more content,

It costs $5 to even get started, I wouldn't waste my time or money on a service like that... There are plenty of services that can be used for "FREE" that do the same thing that Qondio claims... Wasted my time signing up!
