Hi, Let say I notice a high amount of search for keywords "for man". Would it be a good idea to get the "forman" domain and use subdomain for "forum.forman.com", "tool.forman.com" etc. Or it would have been a better idea to go directly with "forumforman.com" and "toolforman.com" ? I am curious to know because "tool for man" generate less traffic than "for man" and with the domain "forman.com" I could get a lot of traffic...? (forman.com is just an example of the concept not a real example). Thank you
Try to get a forman.com and install forum at forman.com/forum and tools at forman.com/tools etc. I suggest you to do link building to get your site rank high in google. It is not necessarily will rank high if you just get a domain.
It depends on what you want to do with it. For example, if you want to build some blogs to earn money through adsense. It is a nice idea if you want to build 5 blogs in this way but is is a bad idea if you want to build 100 Google will penalize you I have a more neutral domain that I use to build landpages in the line of learntips.c0m or info.c0m (none of these are mine they are examples). So I add whatever I want and look legit. But I don't use them for ranking in Google. For long term websites I recommend you the "forumforman.com" and "toolforman.com"
Thx for the feedback, I guess I might try it. Didn't know that Google could penalize me, thank for the tips!
As long as you fill them all with proper content, you won't see any penalties. Best example is blogspot.com, the home og all Blogger blogs. Although there are millions of blogs, all as subdomains, they can (and often do) rank very well.
