    1. Visit http://www.google.com

    2. Leave the search box empty

    3. Click "I'm Feeling Lucky"

    That's interesting. Just some unknown to anyone but Google countdown.

    I'd say it is the number of hours before Google officially announces they are the Antichrist and we are all officially in purgatory and there is not a damn thing we can do about it.

    It is counting down in seconds, just do your math X/60/60/24 and you get the days before new year :D
