I've read like 100 different articles regarding link farms and what they are. I still don't understand them. Is a link farm just placing a bunch of links on a page? So, if my website has a links page that is broken down into categories and subs, it would NOT be a link farm? Example of a link farm: Title Tag: Links for art work: Content: Links lists a bunch of sites related to jewerly, mexican food, tag sales and so on. NOT a link farm? Title Tag: Art Links/ finding the best websites online related to art. Content: Art Links: Category: Gallery Post a bunch of links related to gallery with a description. Category: Authors Post a bunch of links related to authors who paint art with a description. Am I correct?
Link farm is basically the same as FFA (Free For All) link pages. Basically, this would be a page (or multiple) which has no structure, and just allows anyone to place any link about anything. Seems you got it right...
Just look out for websites that have no relevant reasoning behind them and all you see is loads of likns everywere!
Check google define: http://www.google.com/search?q=defi...ient=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official once you start seeking inbound links more you will be able to tell the difference.
Just surfing thru keywords related to career in India and found many link-farm type websites. To show an example: http://www.dialindia.com/education/career_guides/index.shtml These kind of websites created solely for advertisement purposes with better PR ranking are examples of link farm. also i seen a website www.mybrowser.in which is also seemingly same example. Note: I am truly not related to above websites. Just for education purpose
