What is the advantage of using articles from ezine? How do they help you in achieving your goals? How do you choose them? How does it play out for you when you have to include their links and ads? Reading about your insights and experiences would be most appreciated!
I personally don't use EA. I think I'm to lazy to write so much articles for a directory. I prefer building businesses and make my own way, I don't need EA. But of course, some people need EA to get traffic and good backlinks, that's right, Ezine Articles is powerful if you have the time to write the articles.
I'm a newbie with less than 1 month experience in IM, but after writing one article at ezine i'm p1 on google position 2. That's out of 61,000 sites. It took ezine about a week to accept.
I think that most people who does article marketing includes EA. For some reason Google favors them over all other directories. With their recent changes and attitude towards affiliates, it is getting harder for people to get their articles published. But, to get around this, all you need to do is write a good original article of over 400 words. If you plan to use them be sure you submit to them first. They tend to deny your article if they find it published somewhere else. Some people think it is a waste of time to submit articles to them or any other article directory and suggest you just use the article on your own site. I don't understand that. One of the benefits you get from EA is their backlinks. A backlink from them is much better than a backlink from your own blog.
I use EZA on a frequent basis and it has really helped in getting some of my article to the top of SERP as well as good in building back link.
Articles gives backlinks. I think, backlinks from high PR article directory very useful. And I have a question, may be first submission is enough? Is it important to submit one article to many article directories?
An author can build back links! That is what it is! I am starting to get it! What is the benefit for the user of such articles?
One article is no where near enough. When you go the article route, you should be submitting articles on a daily basis. The one thing about articles is that if you write a great one, that one article can make you sales for years. Now imagine if that one article is submitted to say 10 other directories, and gets picked up by several hundred other sites, you are in fat city.) That is what you should be shooting for. Check the back links on some popular sites and you will see their backlinks number in the thousands. And the majority of those backlinks come from article directories
The benefit to the user is--information. Hopefully quality information that keeps them returning time after time.
Can you submit blog posts to EA as well? I write web design posts about web design tips, making money with websites, and I post lists and collections of web designs for inspiration. Can all of these be posted to article directories for backlinks and traffic? I guess I just don't see the difference between articles and blog posts
The value of Ezine articles is two-fold. One is for direct traffic, and fairly high ranking on the SE's due to Ezines authority in Googles eyes. Their articles are also SEO'ed well, from the url, to the title, and keywords, and snippet showing up in the search results. The other benefit is a link back to your website, which can be the homepage or inner pages which are typically harder to rank for.

Like I said, I got started with Internet Marketing around 1 month ago, but I'm listed on page 1 position 2 on google out of 61,000 pages. Did I get lucky, because it did seem easy? Or maybe because I was well versed about the ezine article I wrote. This particular subject--I can write about for days because I live it.
