VisitorVille - Possibly The Coolest Stats Program
Just logged in to statcounter and saw an ad for this service. If you like the Sims or Habbo hotel or are just plain bored looking at your logs then this is for you:
http://www.visitorville.com/ Check out how the Google bus comes and bring you traffic. Right click the bus and get the detailed stats. Make custom busses to your liking. It's a fully featured log analysis software kit that runs on Windows.  Be sure to check out the video demos! Any one using this? You can download the program and without paying you can monitor a live demo site apparently so I might give that a shot out of curiosity. This animated demo cracks me up. Firetruck brings visitor to your 'building' (web page) and you can follow them and get all sorts of interesting data from their 'passport'. Then they leave the building and get a taxi  Check it out!

I did try this out a while ago. It is sort of fun. You can play the last tracking period in fast forward and watch all the little people whizzing round your town, buildings grow or shrink, lights go on and off ... pity that the actual stats provided are so thin.
At the time, I tried the demo the only referral links provided were from SE´s. Maybe they´ve got that sorted by now.

They should make it into a chat room where you get your mates to search for your site on Google, enter and chat on your site while you see it in the software

Can you assign certain IPs to be special characters. Maybe your competition so you recognize them every time they come in

I did in fact use this for about a month but, as yfs1 suggests, it is a major productivity killer - I already viewed my stats too much and this made it 10 times worse. It does look good though
