Hello guys, i'm opening this thread to discuss the strategies of autoblogging systems. How to build them. How to promote them. Content Generation. BlogFarm wheels. Manual and Automatic link building. ETC This thread will also serve as a landing place for offtopic discussions for the service offering page that i created in that section. I will answer all your questions as best as i can without hiding any "guru stuff". http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1589551
Just curious about autoblogging. Where does the content come from? Is it scraped from RSS feeds or randomly generated? Are there actually any sites that do autoblogging and aren't icky spam sites?
The content comes form many sources, if you will take a pick at my services you will see that i myself am offering a few alternatives, such as: (if you would like to group them like this) 1/ youtube, yahoo videos, flickr 2/ amazon, ebay, clickbank 3/ articles from directories + rss feeds There are many many autoblogs on the market, some are even very notorious and quite famous such as www.mashget.com it used to be better ranked but to due some bh fellows the website dropped like a rock from the sky. Syndication is very common even for highly respected, trusted sources. You can create autoblogs as spam sites or just ordinary common blogs or whatever. It's a very well know concept and quite profitable for anyone that can make an investment into domains and hosting.
Autoblogging sites are easily picked and penalized by Google. Plus, they're not ethic. I blog like an idiot 8 hours a day, and then all these autoblogged sites come and use my content like if it was theirs. I hate them and they should be all eliminated from the face of earth...
i can understand your feelings but there is no need to steal some one's content with an autoblog, it is just an option like stealing is...an option. while you blog 8hours an autoblogger who autoblogs 8hours a day can make up to 10 times more money then you do from adsense after a period of 3 months. google spots autoblogs easly? i woudn't be so sure.
Not all auto blogs steal content. Many use authorized content from sources such as amazon and article directories. What you refer to as stealing is nothing more than syndication when it's done legitimately.
I like to use web 2.0 sites for my autoblogs. I also like to use other blogs content in moderation, and credit them. This is good for their marketing and good for their backlinking. I also make autoblogs with youtube video content. Making niche video blogs. Also with amazon content, making niche product blogs. And other imaginative ways.
vienezul, Thank you for opening this thread,i feel like i am in candy store and can't touch any, because i am new to all this auto blogging. Can any one share little of your knowledge on how to auto blog(blog spot, blogger). thanks

Hello, I was interested in auto blogging however I am not too keen in stealing people work without credit. Can you create an auto blog that gives credit to the owner in some way such as scraping people site however taking a portion of their article and redirecting them to the orginal site. If you can do something like this I'd be willing to hire you to create an auto blog for me.
This is interesting is this illegal in anyway to host youtube videos on your site as content? Also what other ways can I get an autoblog with written content without violating copyright laws?
Autoblogging is not inherently unethical. Some of us scrape just the excerpt and link back to the original site for the full content, thus giving link love and credit where credit is due! If you don't want people using your hard work then: 1) Don't post full feed RSS 2) Better yet, completely remove your RSS feeds 3) Sprinkle in mentions of your site and internal links to other posts throughout the content If you know it's going to happen, then leverage it!
I suppose there's nothing wrong with it, and $1 a day with an autoblog is EASILY a goal that can be reached with a small amount of initial traffic. It would just take time, patience, and a bit of luck to spread the word. AutoBlogs get a very bad wrap because they are thought of as blackhat, but in reality they are regular blogs that can earn you money.
As far as i understand if i am working hard to own a blog, i would never want to go it for waste. Okay it may take time but ultimately auto blogs will get banned whereas the content rich site will always grow their earning. I personally know few of my friends blogs who are in alexa 50K and earning more than 1K per month by just posting one good article a day. Then why to waste time on this silly stuff.
Because some bloggers are lazy and don't want to write content, and really all that matters is getting traffic anyways. AutoBlogs can steal content from other blogs and still draw in traffic from SE's, Social networking/bookmarking, article directories... tons of ways. And if your AutoBlog has a good design that's gonna entice readers to come back, then you've got one successful autoblog.
