Yes, you can do that. Even though it's against CB's policies, people still do it. But just don't do it often, as you can get banned. Hope this helps
i dont think it will get you banned.. Its perfectly legal to buy smthin from ur own link.. This is the reason why cb has its distribution policy.. so that u cant create an affiliate account JUST for the purpose of buying a product using ur link and getting a major discount
I just scanned the Clickbank Affiliate TOS and saw nothing prohibiting this practice. From the vendor's perspective, it's just another sale with the added hope that you will enjoy and promote the product. You'll obviously be more equipped to write a good review if you are truly acquainted with the product.
All depend on what your looking for, are you looking to purchase a product for your own use? or you looking to purchase to promote and sell for 100% profit?
The misinformation in this forum is depressing. (How do people come to believe such nonsense in the first place?!). It isn't against Clickbank's policies. You can do it as often as you like. It's expressly allowed. You can't get "banned" for it! In the case of vendors who don't give review copies, how the hell are you supposed to become an affiliate for their product and promote it without buying one through your own affiliate-link?! It isn't only allowed, it's encouraged.
LoL I love the way you always come in handy and explain everything in detail. Some guys are just too lazy to read the TOS .. Al.
