Just had a meeting with the yahoo guyz on search marketing of our company site, They told that ypn will come to india in the next few weeks , but its called by someother name and its only available to select publishers

Hope they pay more like adsense

I don't see why YPN would turn to India before other countries (Canada, UK, Australia etc.)... it also doesn't make sense as to why YPN would change their name.

Yeah, How does that make sense. They should open up to the bigger english speaking markets first since thats where the advertisers are.

Ofcourse they will open globally and they will come to India, its just a matter of time :) I don't think any point in opening up gradually since there are two markets on internet...US and non-US. And time is up for non-US market. But ya they will be more selected in choosing publishers and will not accept sites with less than 1k uniques at the beginning and no-no to blogs or new sites.

Content Match..Hmmm..are you sure that you didn't talked to paypal support because they often replies such useless answers :D ..anyway for which Indian company you work for ? you seems to be representing some of the biggest sites in India.

It's not true - it's another Indian fantasying about YPN. They have yet to improve their system for US publishers, what makes you think they are going to go global?

I'm sorry but i think if they were going to release YPN in india in two weeks then they might have said something official about it.

    Sounds false to me..
