Alexa show up very Low Rank

    HI!
    I verified my site 3 days ago to alexa!
    but Alexa is showing very low page rank!
    I have good pageimpressions and More unique visitors than my friend but I have a low rank then him!

    Alexa, is not only taking traffic now, but i think it have alot more factors, and also alexa only counts when a visitor has the alexa bar installed

    Alexa sucks i have a 3,059,000 according to them but google analytics says i have 2,600 day average lol so i'm learning alexa sucks.

    i think alexa goes by thier tool bar like how many have that tool bar crap installed. thats why i dont pay attention to them anymore i look at my serps

    now! my alexa rank is improving day by day

    Its shows improved rank when I check from alexa.com

    but when I build widget for the site, it shows the same old rank! :(

    The widget I believe is the three month running average and that only updates every week or so.

    seams if you get alot of asia traffic you will have an over all low rank because many asians have the toolbar

    Alexa's numbers are just good for estimation - for example, before you buy traffic or ad space from certain websites, you can base the Alexa numbers to predict the traffic volume. But it's not absolutely accurate. Unfortunately without a more accurate "traffic estimator" that covers a wide enough range of traffic sources, we are still much reliant on Alexa...

    Ultimately Alexa is a mass market measure. With the sheer number of sites and blogs these days I think it is more important to have focus and serve a particular market segment.

    alexa is based on the toolbar -so the visitors that don't have the alexa toolbar don't count for alexa ranking
