Unhappy IE 6 Problems- Please Help

I'm putting the finshing touches on my web site portfolio and figured I should make it compatible in IE6.

Most of the time I just add the code <!--[if IE 6]> in the header to fix the few visual problems but for some reason it's not working? I really could care less about IE6 people but I hate it when I can't figure something out.

Could someone give me some advice to what I'm doing wrong

You should upload in image of what it looks like under ie6, if we do not have that browser we cannot see the problem.
