Are my links from dp sign of a post are counted as backlinks?Plz help me

Hi

I want to know are my sig links counted as backlinks ?

Suppose if i have 100 post that means i have my link on 100 pages ,so do i get 100 backlinks to my site ,

NO. Google won't count them as back links and it won't have any effect on ranking either.

Actually I logged into webmaster tools last night (and checked again this morning) and found backlinks to all my Digital Point posts.

Dp sig links are useless. No use what so ever. Its better you advertise your service.

 

Well mine were picked up by Google so I dont know how "useless" they are? They may not count towards page rank, but they were picked up none-the-less...

they are counted...wach your backlinks and ...BOOOOM...they show up
also they are good to get your website indexed quick

ofcourse google will pick them no matter what. I am taking in respect to PR, SERP, and backlink weight.

Its better to have 100 heavy and high quality backlinks (blog commenting, article marketing etc) than getting 2000 forum posts to gain backlinks. Hope you get my point

 

I agree with you pro-seods, but the orriginal question was asking about wether they are counted as backlinks - not about PR, SERP or backlink weight. I think kickass was only interested in finding out if they will be found by spiders, which I think we've proven they are

It's true google picks them up. Everyone knows that. But guys who are new might think its a good source to get high PR or serp. So, I was making things more clear over here.

 

I agree with you and Kick ass also want to know that 100 thread signature link as count 100 backlink. I think its show 100 time but count as one unique domain backlink.

 

Signature links from Forums do count as backlinks but their value minimal.
Google webmaster tools will show you backlinks from forums, wait for next update.

 

They are counted. Anyway, even if they are not counted, you still get some traffic to your site.

Yes, the backlinks from forums are still helping out. There is no way that forums can links are not been counted. I think many of them making this suggestions after seeing the links in Google.

 

Forum signature are helpful and the best way of creating backlinks. This backlinks sure will give rank but its based on the quality of the linked page and site. GO for >PR5 forums and make backlinks from it and this gives u some PR

 

Forums are the best place for link building. Especially DP links are indexing fast...m getting always links from DP but should keep posting always
