use of a banner rotation script has been debated by our staff team numerous times, but we've tried a number of them and they all make the loading time of the site's webpages alot slower than what they already are. its not really a matter of server bandwidth but individual user bandwidth / loadtimes. this is mainly due to the high quality png format that we use in our web design. the banners used are in a transparant png format and each banner is almost 500KB large, rotating each everytime a user visits the site can take a while for some users to load onto their browsers as opposed to having one just stored in their browser's cache. and as a HQ downloading site we really dont need anything slowing down our users from getting their content.
