Aggregate and channel figures

I was just fiddling with my AS (so to speak) and discovered something odd. Looking at the aggregate total so far today, I see $17 but if I look at channel data, I see the days total at $25.

I knew the channel data was slower to update and in the past if I compared aggregate to channel data, the channel figure has always been less. That makes sense to me, because there are AS ads running on my site that are not in a specific channel.

Is this showing me the updated channel figure which has still to be added to the total?

 

I have seen channel data update before aggregate data in the past, so that's a possible reason.
