Hi all, Long time lurker, first time poster. This is a great group here, it's about time i join. I'm trying to get this site listed in Yahoo, but it never shows up! I paid for inclusion, maybe a year or 2 ago... Any ideas? the site is www.globalcellularrental.com my terms are "cell phone rental", "cellular rental", "satellite phone rental"
Your pages all seem to be blank in their index. http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=si....com&ei=UTF-8&fr=fp-tab-web-t&n=20&fl=0&x=wrt
Your paid inclusion was for the Yahoo! Directory...right? Your searches are for Yahoo! search results which is entirely different as I understand. Do you have many links from other websites pointing to your website using one or more of the specific keyphrases you mention? If not, this would have a rather dramatic impact on your results. There have been a number of discussions on this forum regarding Inbound Links (IBLs), Yahoo and PageRank. The general result seems to be that getting quality links from a multitude of sites (ideally within your theme) can help you get where you want to be. IMHO.
i had 3 days of that site directory and i changed it!!! ratz! all these pages - www.globalcellularrental.com/phone-rental-plans/France-phone-rental.php are now - http://www.globalcellularrental.com/France-phone-rental.php yes on the inbounds... but i think google is less conserned with the quality of them.
those are old urls and they were on the home page for like 3 days before i changed them. so they really need to trash them. but i've had this issue with yahoo for a long time... i'ave had promising google ranks for about 3 months now.
makes no sense to me... top 10 in google, but nowhere on the list on yahoo, msn & all the web. any ideas?
