    Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster. This is a great group here, it's about time i join.

I'm trying to get this site listed in Yahoo, but it never shows up! I paid for inclusion, maybe a year or 2 ago...

    Any ideas?

    the site is www.globalcellularrental.com

my terms are "cell phone rental", "cellular rental", "satellite phone rental"

Your paid inclusion was for the Yahoo! Directory...right?

Your searches are for Yahoo! search results which is entirely different as I understand. Do you have many links from other websites pointing to your website using one or more of the specific keyphrases you mention? If not, this would have a rather dramatic impact on your results.

There have been a number of discussions on this forum regarding Inbound Links (IBLs), Yahoo and PageRank. The general result seems to be that getting quality links from a multitude of sites (ideally within your theme) can help you get where you want to be. IMHO.

I am going to guess it is because of ALL the redirects as to the empty content issue.

those are old urls and they were on the home page for like 3 days before i changed them. so they really need to trash them.

but i've had this issue with yahoo for a long time... i'ave had promising google ranks for about 3 months now.
