    Depending on your demographic, I would try out school newspapers.

    The advertising is relatively cheap and if the kids like it, the word usually spreads. It's just a little harder to track your hits via a newspaper unless you use a different sub-domain of some sort.

    Mabye high school or college papers since they are cheap youre right. But i think there are other good one's out there.
