Best Way To Market A New Informational Product

    Hey DPers,

    Got another question and wanting your guys experience and opinions. I've created a eBook informational product on how businesses can capitalize on 6 methods that are proven to receive local free advertisement, with plans to release 2-3 more ebooks in a different category very soon.

    So, what is your guys opinion on the best way to get your informational product out where customers can see it? I also have a keyword rich domain that, describes the product and would be a frequent term that the business owner would look up.

    If you want affiliates you can make a landing page and have an affiliate section and send your product to clickbank to gain affiliates. The best thing to do is go ahead and make a static page for the product with the advantages etc. You could also sell the E-book here as well as many other websites and forums.

    Thanks for the information, I already have the sales page on the domain, and I'm waiting for access to the Marketplace, I've done went through some of the link directories here and started submitting that way and also on Craigslist.

    As far as traffic goes, you could:

    1. Write articles and submit to EZA + other high pr directories
    2. Submit your page to social bookmarking websites, submit your articles too.
    3. Find question related to your niche on yahoo answers
    4. Make videos about your product using screen capture video software & submit to video sites like youtube.

    My advice to you is to stay away from things that you will not be an authority in, like SEO or SMM, unless you are a really big name out there. The best bet for you, in my opinion, would be to create either an ebook or a power point slide presentation that taught how to do something, preferably niche oriented like sewing.

    There are a number of whats you can take that and put it on a cd/dvd and distribute it through companies for free.

    You will have to do some SEO & marketing campaign to get more exposure for your website.

    Why not do article marketing & PPC to see faster result.

    Video submission of your product works well. Submit in all video supported websites and press release of your product.
