if you're a web designer looking to optimize your website here is a general tutorial on the basis of SEO ...... building Smart friendly well optimize domains plus backing it up with high quality content will assure your marketing efforts - Number one make sure the domain you buy is 100% relevant to your niche market meaning if you're targeting Las Vegas automobiles your domain would be LasVegasAutomobiles.com - number two building sub pages - now that you figure out how to master your domain you need to know how to name your pages in a reference to what you would like to come up for on the major search engines like Google MSN and Yahoo.com. In other words you would name your webpage Las Vegas automobiles.com/classic automobiles.html - These are the forebears of search engine optimization - be brilliant at naming your domain and make sure your pages are relevant to the domain and niche you're trying to market................ peace out Another top lesson would be to get a WordPress blog........ and start blogging daily about your niche or make sure you blog about anything but building categories within your WordPress blog is essential Another trendy search engine optimization tactic would be social bookmarking keep in mind social bookmarking should be limited to Facebook.com, delicious.com, Reddit.com stumblebum.com..... number one reason why they work well all the other S.B's not work. also try OnlyWire.com ... this social bookmarking networking is free and allows a bookmark to post out to over 20 social networks.... in my opinion stumble upon.com Reddit.com is tops....... let me also inform everyone don't spend useless time at Twitter.com - Twitter is social networking is not a search engine will not get massive amounts of traffic nor will you been known as the dominant figure like you would if you were popularized uncle.com yahoo.com and MSN.com........ if anyone would like to add friendly search engine optimization tools and tips please do so................. for now these tools and tips should highly reflect upon your domain and your sub pages and of course the category to search engines will place you upon............ this is a free SeO lesson it is the basis of search engine optimization prior to worrying about how to dominate the search engines for a popular search phrase................ Dan Schulz is also another top SeO that offers search engine optimization quality information.....
I agree with this, Wordpress gives me a good traffic. But of course it still depends on how you gonna handled it.

Allow me to be the judge of that, m'kay? Especially since you invoked my name in this thread... And how does that help people when they don't even know what people are looking for? The most important thing people should do when building or redeveloping a Web site is COMPETITIVE KEYWORD RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS. If you don't, you'll never know what people are using when they search for what your Web site has to/will offer. Without that knowledge, you'll never know what the best keyword rich domain is, you won't know whether the singular or plural version of a keyword gets more potential search traffic, you can't optimize your page titles and headings properly, or even give the people what they really want in the first place. What does this mean? You're not only going to lose out on potential traffic, but also MONEY. Hell, keyword research can even tell you if there's a type of content or widget you can put on your Web site that people will naturally want to link to -- imagine spending an hour or two to find what keywords people use, then crafting the content or other offering that people want, and letting it build links for you without any further effort for you whatsoever. And yes, I even mean getting links from the types of Web sites you'd never be able to get links from otherwise -- such as the heavy hitters in your industry/market/niche/topic, or even the mainstream media. Linking for the sake of linking will only hurt your Web site's optimization. As I said with keyword research helping you find the best possible domain, it can also help you structure your Web site's architecture. If you know what people are searching for, and you're planning your site's architecture in such a manner that you can best give them what they want as easily as possible (this is called information architecture and Web site usability Aaron -- you might want to look them up) , then you'll already know where and when to link the pages within your site to each other. THAT will have the maximum impact on your rankings as far as internal link optimization is concerned. You forgot one, even though you were wrong about the first two points you made. I did touch upon it in my rebuttal of your second "expert tip" but that is writing the content in such a way that you get not only top rankings and the most traffic possible, but also the highest conversions. WordPress has as much to do with SEO as auto mechanics has to do with brain surgery. Social bookmarking has nothing to do with SEO, and using it for that purpose is the same as sending spam into my email inbox. I don't want it, I don't need it, and those who get caught doing it will lose my respect as far as SEO is concerned. Twitter users are also adamantly against people using the site to market and promote their own products. It's a SOCIAL NETWORKING tool, not a lead generation service. You have absolutely NO idea how many people are unfollowed, blocked, and reported as spam because they chose to flood the place with their Mafia Wars invites and cheap crappy snake oil they try to masquerade as a useful produt or service, do you? How about I start, since what you said is flat out wrong and doesn't actually provide anything of use to the people reading this thread? Sorry Aaron, but you're not a top SEO. On this forum or anywhere else. Neither am I. I just happen to know what I'm talking about and am willing to share what I know with other people. If you don't mind me asking, just where exactly are you getting the majority of your SEO information from?
Mak it clear Dan - if going to follow me dont bite - hug me - and bring presents, cookies, and kudos - into the post.. that allows beginners to learn as much possible about seo - I never said I was experts -- I did say these where the forebears of seo - meaning they help those in the search engine department that have har times to meet the criteria Google demands of them ................... Yahoo MSN they are also tough --- Google is tougher because of their adword campaigns and they have total control over how many levels yo can climb in their dep. as far as aan aNalization to break the silence ive made a strive in building sites - and infact now im official logo and seo traffic website layout designer......... I bust my ass building site like anyone else this is hard work - I deserve respect from you and anyone else that knows me on DP.................. I make useful tips ... im they are not far fetched .. im closer than most and canny as I can be," SEO is in my blood ... and I will remain a tough competitor to your existence as long as your online .... we might even meet one day.... hopefully at a giant seo conference.... warning _ if anyone else is to post here make relvant comments about seo ... not smash on my reward
I was, clear as crystal. I didn't bite you. I didn't even nibble. I merely pointed out your mistakes and corrected them so that others can learn. Actually you did, when you said I am another top SEO. By saying I am another top SEO, you're by definition claiming to be one as well. The real forebearers of SEO are people like Jill Whalen, Danny Sullivan, Eric Enge, Dan Thies, Andy Jenkins, and Eric Ward. Not me, and most certainly not you by a long shot. Google isn't tougher -- it's just far better at giving people what they really want than the others are. Well slap me hard and call me Sally. What exactly does that mean anyway? Just a few weeks ago you were begging me to find you an optimized keyword-rich domain name. There's nothing "official" about Web design or SEO. There's just those who can, those who can't, and those who are learning. Nobody deserves respect just for talking about SEO, not even me -- it's something that has to be earned, not given. Whatever. I don't do the whole conference thing. Just keep this in mind. When you provide people with useful tips, I'll compliment you for it. When you make a mistake, I'll point it out so you and others can learn from it. That's what I do with everybody else on here. What reward? This isn't a popularity contest or an ego-boosting activity. I pointed out your errors in the hope that you and others will learn from them. How is that bashing you? Instead of complaining that I'm being mean, if you have evidence to back up your claims, provide it. Let's have a meaningful healthy debate on the subject.
