    I just noticed Google's stock is near $500 a share ... Don't you wish you were on of the top 10 stock holders of that company haha :) .. Congrats Google!

    I wish I had bought few thousand of Google Shares few years back :)

    How near is Google from $500?

    Well today, one share price of Gooogle [GOOG] closed at "$499.06" :)

    And the price reached "$501.99". Lets see if the share price close up $500 mark.

    The price per share a few years back was $700+. It fell down to ~$400, and now it's ~$500.

    Well, Google set the share price at $150 when they started, so this is why it has been so high. Of course, you will not be able to buy as many shares at this price as you would from other companies.
