money is extremely terrible!

i usually get around 30.00 per thousand uniques (ish) on ypn
yesterday i got 9k uniques and only made around 130.00

Whats going on with ypn now


i also lost a random 500.00 balance, (emailed them about it but no responce)

 

$30 CPM? that's nuts.

anyways I believe that the advertisers for yesterday and possibly today have gone down a bit.. you know the market varies each day.

Only be concerned if this happens consistently.

Now onto the main subject of the thread. Advertising rates will vary day to day. There is many different aspects that come into mind. First is the advertiser's budget. They could be cutting there pricing on the ads. Second thing that came to mind was different advertiser's. You wont always get the same ad so it could be mixing in new ads which have lower bids.

Is your ctr the same?

Also the only thing I would say is $30.00 cpm can be good or bad dependings on your niche. If your looking at a very general niche such as myspace site, gaming website, and etc.. $30.00 cpm is killer. Wouldn't complain at all. Remember all depends on your niche. What website are you running the topic?

I used to get about 30-50 cpm with ypn when it first came out. Those lovely 2-3 dollar clicks. Now I'm down to about $4-5 dollars cpm. So just a little warning you might not have seen the end of lowering cpm. IMHO

depending on the type of site and ad layouts 1,000 uniques can make as much as 50,000 impressions or more, $30 for 50,000 impressions is only $0.60 CPM. This is all estimates, having 5 ad units per page and 10 page views per visitor was the basis of my calculation.

What I got from your thread you said "$30.00 dollars per 1000 people." Wouldn't that be $30.00 cpm?

Or if you take into calculations...

You said you usually make $30.00 cpm so 30x9.00 equals. 270. Which at $1.50 cpm is 180 pageviews per person. Is this correct? That would be showing 180,000 impressions a day in ypn?

 

I usually rake in around $30'ish per day but today im at $6...weird.

 

Where do you live? I would starve to death on 130.00/week.

 

my ypn is stating 127,000 impressions and my cpm was liek 1.10

pretty much my cpm is usually like 1.90



;(

 

Yesterday I was down about $500 and today is even worse.
