    Hello everyone ..
    I hope you're doing well ..

So, all is in the title, why there is no Drupal section in the Content Management category?

I think it should be a good idea to share our knowledge about the best CMS online and to get some support from DP members ..

I asked for this category since there is one for Joomla .. So I don't see any inconvienient to add a Drupal one.

    Thanks for answering
    Regards.

The general rule of thumb around here is, when a topic generates sufficient activity, that topic is spun off as new category.

I support Drupal. I would often go in this forum to help out people with Drupal questions (not too simple ones)

I found it interesting that there was a section for Joomla and not for Wordpress or Drupal. That rule of thumb, Smyrl, makes a lot of sense. But I guess the fact that Joomla has its own section may be getting some newbies to attribute a superiority to that particular CMS.

Nothing too serious I'd think anyway.
But most other webmasters take their CMS of choice very seriously.

On my quest to find my ideal CMS a few years ago, I found Joomla people to be the most outspoken about this and Drupalers to be the more laid-back.

    There's a sub section CMS / Blogging / WordPress
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=110

but Drupal wins best cms awards year after years and joomla is always second, wordpress as well. But yet on DP there's no Drupal section. How well..
I don't need advice on DP that I can't get on drupal.org forums, but if there were a subforum about Drupal on DP I'd hang out there too, wasting some more time.

    This sounds logic ..

But, if there is no Drupal section in a forum like DP, so where else to find such category?

I don't ask Drupal related questions in the CMS forum, I just go to Drupal.org, there is a good support right there (Btw, better than the joomla support forum) , but if there is a category in here, it will encourage me to post HERE ..

Also, I think that it's important to know the DP members using Drupal, it's important from relationships point of view.

And as SENSERELY said, a winning CMS award, deserve a little attention.

    Regards.

It was already on my list of sub-sections to add at some point in the future, and seems there's a reasonable number of topics that I can move to it after creating it now, so it's been created.

10m after creating it, it ranks #26 in Google for "Drupal Forum" lol... not that #26 will bring any traffic, but crazy how fast Google is at indexing and inserting into results.
