    As amount is large maybe they send recovery agents at your home (address on your paypal account).

    If your card is/was connected to a credit card or bank account they can attempt a withdrawl.

    Yeah, don't worry, they won't send agents and all for $800. Even if they send, talk it out with paypal and settle to a lesser value.

    I guess you already have received warning notifications from paypal. If you won't respond them, they will go with legal actions.

    may i know where you from?

    my friend has negative balance of 423$ but still no one came to get the cash,this has been done before 8month

    but paypal send regular mail about legal action but he ignored it

    i don't know what happens if your outside the US,but if your in the US they have 2 options.
    1.they sell the debt to a collection agency and you'll now owe the collection agency.you'll get lots of mail and phone calls from them. :(
    they can take you to small claims court.
    2.paypal takes you to small claims court.

    what did you do to get a negative balance of $800?
    is this from paypal credit card?

    most companies do #1.
