For best search engines results; in regards to what to put in the pages' titles on my homesite (what titles the separate pages should have), i.e. what kind of "style" should I use ... Currently they are titled like this consistently throughout the whole site: Tadej's homepage: computing hints, principles, and rules (index) Tadej's homepage: computing hints, principles, and rules (intro) Tadej's homepage: computing hints, principles, and rules (rules) ... etc. And I started to wonder, should I rather change the titles like this (shorter): Tadej's homepage: computing hints, principles, and rules (only for the "index" page) Tadej's homepage: page "intro.html" Tadej's homepage: page "rules.html" ... etc. Or maybe even like this (as you can see, it's even shorter and less repetitive): Tadej's homepage: page "index.html" Tadej's homepage: page "intro.html" Tadej's homepage: page "rules.html" ... etc. P.S. -- I would then use "computing hints, principles, and rules" elsewhere (most probably in the "description" tag) tayiper
You need a better flow with the wording and using keywords specific to each page would help. For example: Computer tips, hints and tricks - a guide on computing principles and rules. You need to research what are the best keywords to use on the title that are also in the page you are working on. Dont forget the title will show up in search results so you want to catch the visitors eye with a good title. I would drop Tadej's homepage as nobody is going to be running a search for that phrase.
